In its heyday, Campbeltown was considered the whisky capital of the world. Only three active distilleries remain today: Glengyle, Glen Scotia, and Springbank. Nevertheless, these distilleries continue to produce some of the best whiskies in Scotland. A visit to Campbeltown provides a combination of history, scenery, and exceptional single malts.
